Naturally hot glue would be the easiest way to make velvet roses, but we'll do it the old fashioned way and stitch largely by hand.  This is a lovely project, and you'll be awfully tempted to start hoarding vintage ribbon and millinery leaves...and let’s not forget the velvet!

Supply List
Upholstery Thread in Black or White

Bits (i.e buttons, charms etc) to incorporate into your design
Glue Gun

Saturday, August 9 from 10 - 1, Watercolor Pendants, $60

Watercolor painting is by far one of the most relaxing arts Lexi's experienced.  Despite how relaxing it is, many are fearful of learning to do it.  Lexi helps work through the fear with her unique stamp & watercolor techniques – it’s a fabulous way to play & paint, with no pressure.
The first part of class focuses on painting little vignettes on watercolor paper, these are delightful inclusions for journals, cards or even framed!  The remainder of the class, Lexi will show techniques on how to use watercolors under ICE Resin!!

Saturday, August 9 from 2 - 6 pm, Wiggling Witches, $60
Lexi's love of Halloween reaches back to childhood memories of cake walks, bobbing for apples, dressing up & CAAAAANDY!  Every Fall, her creative wheels go into motion creating new workshops inspired by my favorite time of year.

This little shadowbox is one of her original Halloween classes, and it’s by far one of the favorites! The mini shadowbox measures 2 ¼” x 1 3/8”, so naturally the found objects and elements will need to be quite small, miniature in fact!

Class instruction includes shrinky-dink tricks, how to attach wiggling arms and lots of fun little techniques - once our boxes are filled and looking oh so fabulous, we will finish off the pendant by encasing in glass and solder.  The opportunity for further personalization does not end with our soldered shadowboxes, as we get to add assorted charms & vials to our little creations.
